I had a delightful stay at Cornlee, where the charming Victorian property captivated me from the moment I arrived. The welcoming staff offered a glass of Prosecco, setting a lovely tone for my holiday. The clean, well-equipped Scandinavian lodge provided cozy comforts, including a delightful hot tub that was thoroughly enjoyable to unwind in each evening.

I found the check-in process to be smooth and quick. The location is stunning, with both Aysgarth Falls and West Burton easily walkable. The lodge was clean, with modern decor and a lovely hot tub that offered complete privacy. Tea, coffee, and basic essentials were welcomed touches upon arrival. The staff were exceptional, particularly John, who provided great recommendations and was genuinely engaging. I did notice some areas that could improve. The fridge space in the lodge is quite limited, making it hard to store larger items. I encountered a few dusty spots, which took away from the overall cleanliness feel. The hot tub struggled with temperature issues during my stay, and the maintenance staff resolved it quickly but was inconvenient.

The lodge cleanliness is in desperate need of attention!!! Stains on curtains and sticky dining surfaces are unacceptable. Maintenance of kitchen appliances requires immediate action!!! Shoebox-like bedrooms lack adequate storage space.

During my stay, the TV was out of service due to high winds, which left us without evening entertainment, and one of the showers was drippy and non-functional. while the restaurant on-site served good food, I found that some items could be more reliably available, and I experienced some cleanliness oversights, like dusty corners in the lodge.

During my stay at Cornlee Bed & Breakfast, I experienced a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Jason provided a warm reception and helpful insights about the local area, enhancing my visit. The room was meticulously clean, and I particularly enjoyed the substantial breakfast, which set a positive tone for each day. The scenic views around Aysgarth added to the charm of the experience, making it worthwhile for business travel.

We had a fantastic time exploring the scenic walks, especially around Aysgarth Falls and West Burton. The lodge had everything we needed, and we enjoyed a relaxing morning with coffee on the deck. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals, making it easy for us to dine without going far.

Unfortunately, we faced multiple power cuts during our stay, which was quite inconvenient. It made things a bit stressful as we weren't sure if it would happen again, impacting our relaxation time.

Had a lovely time unwinding in the hot tub and enjoying some quiet moments by the fire pit. There are great opportunities for relaxation with the on-site restaurant and a nearby scenic walking trail. The only thing was that it could have used a little extra parking space, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊
